Aruba’s Hotel and Tourism Association celebrates its 40th birthday this year! In honor of the occasion, AHATA has acknowledged the contributions of many people who have helped shaped Aruba’s national tourism product and helped position it, to the way it is today.

The Shoco Award of Excellence was established to honor the most outstanding in the hospitality industry. In recognition of his fine technical and outstanding hospitality skills, Captain Julio, of the Jolly Pirates was voted Aruba’s Employee of the Year.
